It can be installed on the truck parts for a quick transition from tool compartment to gun storage. There are also ready-made ones like Du-Ha and Bestop.

Anyone here who has the same guns and ammo storage in their vehicle?

I have the Du-Ha version in my truck. It works great storing all that odd stuff you might need. However, I have never and will never use it for gun storage of any kind. If I were to keep firearms in a vehicle for any length of time, I would find a better option that is much more secure.
