I have 3 cameras attached to my DVR security system. It's a Swann DVR8-3425 with SWPRO-842CAM-US 900TVL cameras. There is a chart showing which cameras are compatible with the DVR here: https://www.swann.com/media/wy...ra-compatibility.pdf I'm wondering if another brand of camera would work. It's just a plain BNC connected, genetic video source and I think the only reason most of the cameras on the list aren't compatible is because of the connectors for the video aren't BNC. Also, can I mix resolutions or do all the cameras have to match? Thanks!

You can mix cams as long as they are of the same CCTV system. Stick with 960H cams.
