| With ethanol, ANYTHING is possible. Had a Stihl saw from 1977, the most reliable gas engine I ever owned. Sit for a year, two, three.. a couple pulls it would start. Then one day some years ago it wouldn't. I started to take it apart and noticed the fuel line from the tank to the carb was gone!  The tank and the carb both still had maybe 3/4" of tube, the ends all dark and "melted", but everything in between just wasn't there anymore. |

If it starts easily and runs fine, DON'T mess with the carberator. It could've been your spark plug the entire time. |
