Is that something that can do 3D lake topography things? Like a model of a Great Lake on a table, covered in glass or picture? Google will show you what I mean.

You might checkout Brian Law's wooden clocks I started one of those projects when consumer 3d printing hit the market. Too bad my printer didn't last long enough to finish it. Perhaps they weren't quite ready for prime time. I hadn't pursued it further.

Lots of videos on youtube to get you going. There's also several facebook groups. Also, you can get pre-drawn CAD files from Etsy to download and get your juices going.
