Homeschool Resource Thread
I asked the bossman a while ago and he greenlighted this thread. The hope is to create a space where parents who homeschool their children can share resources that they have found online or potentially in person to help others who are interested. My preference would be to NOT have general homeschool discussion here.

I will come back to add more later but for now I would offer up the following

Smithsonian Coursework where you can earn certificates of completion, they look great on a transcript. Some are free and some are paid, I do believe you need to be a member to join, I'll check with mama on that.

Here is a link to one course, they have many

We've always been a Classical Conversations family, so much of our material has been in line with that program. My wife and I are both engineers, so math is very important to us. That's one area where we've supplemented the CC material.

Shormann Math is what we landed on as the best math curriculum for us. We've also tried Horizons and Saxon for several years each. We like Horizons better than Saxon.

For literature, the No Fear Shakespeare book series has been really good to bring the Bard into the modern era. It has the original text in one column and the modern English translation in the other.

My son did it as a addition to his regular schooling.
