A great day on the Space Coast. Just after noon, I watched the landing of the Antonov AN124-100 at the Melbourne International Airport. Tonight, I watched the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from my backyard (through WWII M15A1 binoculars). WOW!

Two experiences I have never had. Neat!

I've seen an Antonov once, on takeoff from IAH. Pretty sure it was an AN-124, had to look twice & be sure it wasn't the 225 Mriya

Definitely a 'dirtier' plane than almost any commercial I've seen fly over. Solid smoke trail behind all the engines.

I just saw the Antonov AN124-100 depart Melbourne Airport. What a sight!!!

I watched the Ukrainian one fly into Dobbins.

Saw that big boy or it's cousin at Sanford Airport several years back, it's one big son of a bitch....
