JR78Comey on Fox
Seemed like he’s in in full cover-thy-ass mode.

Ha-ha. The classified memo(s) dun bin leaked (by him) and he admitted it. His prior testimony is all recorded. His book been written with all the silly attempts at justification that only make him look worse.
A bit late for CYA mode now...

Cousin VinnieHopefully he will be "Purp Walked" soon. With everything illegal he did, he needs to be charged. Even if he is ultimate found not guilty, we need to turn his life upside down for a while and shake the cash from his pockets. He needs to pay for his misdeeds because if you or I did what he did, we'ed long be in handcuffs and in a cell broke, humiliated, and sucking wind for life.

Rick LeeHe will never be convicted. The DC jury pool is not sympathetic to the Trump Admin. and they'll view acquitting Comey as getting even with Trump. I'd like to see him spend his book royalties on legal fees, but I bet Fitzgerald will handle the case pro bono, you know, honor among thieves and all.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown April 26, 2018, 09:06 PM
flashguyI'll bet a change of venue to North Carolina or West Virginia might be interesting....

Might want to make it Montana or one of the Dakotas, just to be sure. I wouldn't trust a NC jury, either.
Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.
Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Rey HRHI learned that the person he leaked the info to get the special prosecutor started was someone who worked as a contractor for the FBI.
In his testimony to congress, he referred to him as a friend, as a professor. I'm surprised (in hindsight) why no one asked him how he came to know the guy.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Maybe Texas and when it’s appealed, it’ll wind up in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans.

pbslingerComey can't keep his mouth shut on what I assume is a pre trial publicity tour to gain sympathy with the public or taint a jury. I'm amazed that with the screening you would assume any agent, let alone the head must pass, this guy even got in. He's like a junior high school girl. He deserved to be fired simply on the grounds of being petty.

and what does that say about 'those who put him in such a position'?
Entire scenario much like some of the tales of fear & dismay from the Bush 41 era by some frantic socialists I knew.

To me it says he was chosen for being on board with the mission, discounting his apparent flighty liabilities.

chellim1Comey continues to sink lower... and lower.
Every time he opens his mouth and does an interview.
Keep talking, buddy!

NK402The fact that Comey included Colbert on his book promotion tour, tells you all you need to know about him.
