Sounds like she hid somewhere on the plane as scheming for the lawsuit.

Now that we have more information, and it seems the airline has confirmed this story, we have the makings of a LIFETIME made for TV movie... Better than SNAKES ON A PLANE!!!

my Money is on, bullshit.

No way she was just left asleep on a parked plane...
Stewards have to walk thru the cabin on their way out of the plane too.

An Air Canada spokesperson confirmed the incident to ABC News and said the airline is investigating.

"This customer was left on our aircraft after the flight," the spokesperson said in a statement Sunday. "We are still reviewing this matter so I have no additional details to share, but we have followed up with the customer and remain in contact with her."

ABC News' Brad Mielke and Barbara Rick contributed to this report.

Lawsuits for psychological trauma in similar situations tend to be rather unsuccessful. If somebody is holding a gun to your head on an airplane threatening to blow your brains out, you might have a case.

Perhaps, but I hear about settlements all the time where a corporation wants to avoid the publicity and just settles. Why else would somebody have an attorney already advising her to keep quiet and say nothing more on Facebook?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^In my local area, there are very few attorneys that will take psychological trauma cases. Walmart, Dollar General and others tend to fight these cases, even where there is legitimacy involved. I cannot speak for other areas of the country.
