Congratulations, Tony! Well done I haven't done Keto. Just eliminated nearly all the simple/refined carbs, limited carbs in general, and run a mild calorie deficit (most of the time). I dropped 22 lbs. net weight, 11% body fat, and over 2 in. off my waist since Nov., 2022 this way. I'm currently stalled at around 172 lbs. and 17% body fat because, well, Christmas season I'm just trying to hold the line through New Year's and hit the ground running on Jan. 1. It's too late to work within the system,,,, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe "If we let things terrify us, life will not be worth living." -- Seneca the Younger, Roman Stoic philosopher

Congrats on your "fat" loss. I don't say weight cause increasing/maintaining lean muscle mass is the secondary goal (harder btw). That's the problem with all these GLP-1 drugs. I've maintained a 23% loss since 2017, 10% fat, and working on strength. The decrease in inflammation has improved many other areas of my health, from brain/mental, gut, to respiratory function and sleep. I'm ramping up supplies and food prep for world carnivore month in January. Will probably give up bread, although I do tolerate sourdough more or less. Congrats on the progress. Surely, it's not all just diet, right? I understand stopping the input of bad calories works better than exercise to burn off calories. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

It mostly is. I don't hit the gym but once in a while. I'm too busy for that. We do theme parks maybe once a week or two (season passes), but outside of the them park days where we walk 15,000 to 20,000 steps, it's just every day activity. I average about 9,000 to 10,000 steps a day. I do see more rapid weight loss when we take more walks and maybe do bike rides. I'm not running at the moment. Tony. Tonight's dinner was marinated and grilled (on the pellet grill) chicken wings with brussel sprouts and bacon. Seasoned the brussel sprouts with salt, pepper, onion powder, minced garlic, parsley and basil. Then rubbed in olive oil and mixed with chopped bacon. Put it all in the cast iron skillet and placed in the oven at 400˚ for 30 to 40 minutes. Tony.
