Mrs.BurtonRW and I spend a lot of time watching bald eagles at a not-too-far-away NWR.

I’m pretty sure it knew what it was doing. Sometimes they seem to.

Drove under that bridge today with the firefighters up there, based on the angle of the sun probably very close to that time. It’s an impressive display every year by the fire departments. A surreal moment for them I’m sure.
