The thing is, she gets stomped every time she appears on that show. To me, it has become gratuitous.

And I don't care how much money she makes or has. That has nothing to do with it. No matter how much she gets for that gig and no matter that she lends herself to the non-stop hazing, no matter that she's a typical leftist with their typical stupid and completely unrealistic fantasy view of the world, it has become a pathetic display. There is a streak of cruelty in all of it.

The show tonight was golden, first time Janine just sat there shaking her head at one of her stupid comments. Later Jesse and Janine doing a high five right in front of her face after they both responded simultaneously to one of her stupid comments.

Tonight certainly was a classic put-down of Jessica, one of the few times I've enjoyed watching when she's on.

Harold Ford has a nasty habit of working in liberal talking points as if they are facts (especially on gun control), and the rest of the panel lets him get away with it. A totally smarmy individual, IMO.

I used to turn off the show when Juan Williams was on. I Googled him once, curious when his contract expired, and all I had to type was "When does Juan Williams". Google auto-filled "contract with Fox News expire". Big Grin

For me, the token leftist is a waste of time and detracts from the program.

There's always Newsmax. And The Five is only one FNC show out of many.

As for Juan Williams, he got the boot from NPR (an organization being eyed for the chopping block by DOGE) for speaking the truth out loud, saying that he "profiled" (not his words) some people in "Muslim garb" on an airplane who, he said, made him feel unsafe ... just like most people would after 9/11, whether or not they admit it. Fox hired him for another of their token liberals.

And yes, I'm serious.

You can see it in her face.

I'm with you on this. It use to be a tactic by left to interrupt others while the right showed manners & control by not doing the same. It seems as though much of the right has gotten dragged down to the mud level.
The complete lack of manners & decorum towards Jessica bothers me more then her weak, and often stupid comments.
I'm old, did almost 43 years in the auto industry so off color, profane, and outright obscene language were a way of life for me. I was considered a master of it.
But I just don't care for "professional people" using on TV or public. Terms like bullshit, pissed off, ect have no place in the public media.
Mini rant over.

When I first started watching the liberal was a heavy set guy who always wore a white shirt and suspenders and would get into arguments with Eric Bolling.
It was actually a good show back then.

The way she acts it is as if she truly believes she is a 'hard nosed jouralist' who 'asks the tough questions'.

Normally I could not care less but Margaret Brennan is smarmy and someone who, after the last 'debate', consistently inspires me to hate her.

I don't think she can help that. The voice, I mean.

In my view, that vocal fry twist is controllable and is a conscious choice. Any time I hear it I know I need to just ignore that person as they will be a self centered ass.

I don't watch the Five regularly. But I would pay good money to see them locked in a room with the cast of the View, and a baseball bat.

I wouldn’t pay to watch it, but I sure as heck wouldn’t be rushing in to break it up either.

She really doesn't bother me much, plenty of other libs on TV that irk me way more.
She's relatively benign, IMO.
I too kind of feel sad about her token role, I imagine she says " It's a living ". Frown

I completely agree. And "smarmy" is the perfect word for him. Yet they treat him with respect and good humor.

It seems to me that Jessica Tarlov, and possibly Harold Ford, are the shows Democratic punching bags (useful idiots).

That was Bob Beckel. He passed three years ago. Don't really miss him.

Tarlov can do a complete 180 like Leo Terrell and I'll still find her repulsive because of the way she sounds. That voice just sets me off. <cringe>

I learned a long time ago that people are born with a lot of traits or political views I may not like.
But to judge them based on their looks or the sound of their voice, is just plain not fair.
They had no say in in genetics that are in their make up. So if that is a problem for you just do the adult thing and just avoid them.

I could deal with any of them if they would be honest about their position.

If Tarlov, or Washington, or whoever, would just come right out and admit that they believe in a one-world, authoritarian government where the common man owns nothing, allows the OWG to tell him what to think, where to work, where to recreate, etc, instead all of this irrational drivel that they manage to repeat with the straight face of a sociopath, I could at least respect that.
