Get better.

Good for you! Keep it up, and best wishes.

During my rehab, I spent a lot of time walking on the treadmill at the PT place. Holding on to the hand-holds, I felt secure without walker or cane. Also, no danger from traffic, or uneven sidewalks, etc.

It got a bit boring, so I would prop my Kindle reader on the dashboard area, and read while I was walking.

I’m new here, but wish you a continued speedy recovery!

Please be careful-cautious, a fall would be a major set back.

C. diff is a real killer. Almost did my mom in as well, same as you, she was unable to walk after a few weeks suffering from this. Like you, she found the strength to get through it, but it was very much nip and tuck for a while there. Glad to hear you're doing better.

Having watched several people in recovery and the pain expressions on their face, I can see it is not hard to overwork. Push, and know your limits.

That sounds like a big rough patch you just went through. I'm glad you're on the mend. Keep at it.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
