When I was a kid back in the early 60s sometimes we did square dancing in school. I always thought it was fun. Fortnately they never showed us this cartoon.

Don't forget looking through TV guide / Newspaper to find something to watch, hoping that the rerun of the show you missed is on soon!

Funny how cartoons like this were pulled for being violent, but it's ok to have video games where kids are graphically blasting each other apart.

As a child, I was first introduced to classical music by Bugs Bunny. Tom and Jerry too.

The first "classical" album I ever bought was the soundtrack from A Clockwork Orange.
Had no idea at the time I watched the movie what I was listening to, but I liked it.
Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

I always heard that line in "Devil Went Down to Georgia" and never knew exactly what it was. Best I could come up with was "chicken on the bedpan, crappin' outdoors."

For the life of me, I never thought I'd hear "you pull mine, and I'll pull yours" on SigForum!

I suspect that most people don't know (or realize) that the entire musical score for the movie "Platoon" was Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings". And it was surprisingly effective.

I am not a fan of Wagner but I do like 'Kill the Wabbit!'.
And the 'Hambone' song from Tom & Jerry.

+1 A Clockwork Orange led to Walter Carlos "Switched-On Bach".

That really brings back memories of Saturday morning cartoons and my bowl of sugary cereal. Mel Blanc and Chuck Jones were pure genius.
The Saturday morning show typically had 50s and 60s vintage Bugs Bunny cartoons, if I recall correctly. Watch the Bugs cartoons from the 40s, when he had the more sloping head and was more of a smart ass. Those are really un-PC!

I remember doing that, too, back in the early '60s.
