41Giant prices overall are high since some of them have a union. I only buy things that are on sale or have been marked down.

My Kroger near Dallas didn't have any eggs yesterday as well as a 2 limit sign.
It's all good, I didn't need any anyway..

coloradohunter44Luckily our girls keep us well stocked. I have one customer who likes to come get eggs from us for $5 a dozen. He says the yokes are a much better color. I agree. They get a great variety of chicken chow and grains and leftovers. Local prices have been around $5 to $7 a dozen depending upon where you shop.

Johnny 3eaglesEverything at Harps is overpriced, all day, every day. But their bakery is really good. Employee owned stores, and they must be well paid.

trapper189Since some of us may be buying eggs we don’t normally purchase, anybody notice a difference?
I bought cage free brown eggs and don’t notice a difference between them and the normal store brand cheap eggs. The color of the yokes in the Eggland’s Best is a brighter yellow, but I don’t notice a difference in taste.

Expert308I paid $6.99/dozen (large) at Albertson's today. Plenty of them in stock. XL were $7.49/dozen. I think jumbos were $7.99.

MoosehornManAs I was standing agape looking at the $7 dozen eggs, another old guy came up and said, "they will probably start selling them by the "each" soon"
It was good for a laugh, hope it isn't true.
Threw a couple Rib Eyes in the cart, and didn't notice how much the eggs were after that.

^^^^^^^ I reckon if this keeps up you might see an Auctioneer doing that voice selling eggs. Highest bidder, so to speak.
Actually, that might make a really good comedy sketch on SNL.
