Why is it when you make a change, Murphy rears his head

Updated the DTV service yesterday, cut out three boxes and changed the tv's over to the DTV App, saves some money and the app is better anyway.

We just as soon as the conversion was done one of the FireSticks went kaput, all of them running without issues, but no, get rid of DTV's box and remotes and one goes up in smoke.

That sumbitch Murphy.....

You can at least get Prime from the DTV App; you just have to set it up from the DTV App.
Same goes for Netflix and a bunch of others.
I have a Fire Stick, but I never use it directly any longer since going to DTV streaming. Everything is accessed from there.
