There's one. It was very polarizing when it was out there, the Saab 900 Turbo, circa 1986. I had a co-worker tell me it looked like a bathtub on wheels, ugly. I thought it was cool. I never bought one, but loved they way looked back then.

AWD turbos with diffs or torque vectoring shafts, and sophisticated AWD platforms in general. Fell in love with a new STi in 2008, because of what it can do in inclement weather (hard performance driving). Owned a Focus RS for a few years and now a GRC CE.

My neighbor has an 02-ish WRX that just sits there. Tempted to see what she'd want for it.
It's black, which sucks [IMO], and I think needs AC work. But otherwise looks quite clean.

Always liked the early WRX I had a ‘02 Obsidian Pearl-also
On ow as black. The 5 speeds were fragile as hell. I also had a 04 STi, one of my favorite cars.

One car I have always lusted for was a 1937 Cord 812 supercharged Phaeton. Maybe one day when I win the powerball...

I always wanted a Lotus Seven, having read about them in Road and Track. Then we moved to a house where the neighbor had one. He offered me a ride to the vintage car races at Sonoma Raceway; we took the long way over hills to Sears Point. I knew from shortly after e started that I didn’t really want one. My S2000–especially the AP2 I have now—is far more comfortable.

Yes. That would be the El Camino for me. I want one with hydraulics and little wheels & tires.

Twice? Wink

I'd go off the rails and Powerball my way into a Mazda RX-500 or a Doble.

I'd like a Super 7, but I won't fit all that great. Same with the S2000.

Usually I'll get something out of (or going to) the junkyard and fix it, seems to be a cheaper that way.

The diesel Benz is different enough to set it apart, but I'm not interested in bleeding each injector if the fuel runs low.

Lexus LS430.
Hope to be the next vehicle purchase for myself.
Lowered just slightly on Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers and the mufflers deleted.
Black or silver on factory 5 spoke wheels powder-coated in some sort of anthracite gunmetal color.

Had an 83 W123 Turbo Merc, great car, drove it a few years then went back to sports cars, bought an 85 Supra which was good. The Merc would run all day at higher speeds, comfortable long distance hauler.

Wish vehicle, get my 82 C3 Corvette back, and my 54 Olds 98, never should have sold those two.

Can't say any EV interests me, the tech is great, but the hassle of owning one and super high entry level costs, for $100K, a nice Porsche or Audi even a C8 would be my choice.

I always liked the Volvo 850 wagon. Big and boxy but a unique sporty look to them.

I was building a replica, Mazda rotary powered. Sold it when we moved, never got to experience it under power.

I like muscle cars, hot rods, and performance cars in general. But I like and have owned Jeeps.

I have a 2012 Subaru WRX, owned a Dodge Omni GLH Turbo. '79 Jeep Cherokee lifted and the like

But two vehicles, that I have always wanted, since I was a kid, are strange, and don't fit in with my usual. They strangely both come from Subaru.

The Subaru 360, love to have a 1968. I like both sedan and the van.

The next is the Subaru BRAT. For some reason, I have loved that thing from the first time I saw one as a kid.

Would love to get my hands on both of them!

The two cars I've always wanted and now can't fit into are the Fiat X-1/9 and the Lotus Europa S2

I've currently been driving a string of CSUV, but I'm really taken with the new Lucid Sapphire...supercar performance with Mercedes S class luxury

I'd love a Subaru Baja XT/Turbo. Can't remember if they offered it with a stick.
Always thought it was a neat little ute.

That's another one that I love! I came really close to buying one about 2 years ago, yellow and silver. It was a 5 speed manual with black leather interior. Low miles.

The dealership sold it before I could get financing.

Maybe one day!

I've always been a truck guy,and I've drooled over muscle cars but never owned one. I'm 6'5", and do all my own wrenching, so I like to keep everything big and simple.

I've always had a thing for the 1975-ish Porsche 911, but I can't fit in one. A little peppy car with great handling and a manual transmission just seems fun. My wife has a Mazda 3 with a stick and while it's not exactly "peppy" I have to admit it's fun to drive and has been a reliable and practical vehicle. She wants a Miata, so once the kids move out I may get her one and steal it occasionally Big Grin. I'd fit with the top down, and a RWD version of the "3" with more power actually sounds like a pretty good time.

I owned an '83, '85, '86 and '89. You learned to carry a spare fuel pump relay in the glove box, to not be overly concerned about air conditioning and how to sniff out good mechanics.

You had to have 4WD to do any better in the snow.
