Reynolds Wrap Non-Stick Aluminum Foil is the new toilet paper
This stuff is wonderful. It’s nonstick property is outstanding. But my grocery stores haven’t had this common product in stock for weeks. Available on Amazon though. Pricy, but just ordered a roll.

I think we bought our last at BJs Warehouse. Typical warehouse size that should last forever. Saw mention of it here, tried it and now we use it regularly (but never as TP).

If it’s nonstick, how does it make for good TP?

Did aluminum foil ever stick?

Most foil has a dull side and a shiney side. The dull side is the non stick.

That's really brilliant. Line a cake pan, bake the cake without washing the pan.

Is the aluminum biodegradable? How will sewage treatment plants process it?
Did they really think this through? Unintended consequences

Not true.
"Reynolds Wrap is letting us in on their little secret. As it turns out, the different appearances of each side of aluminum foil are simply a result of how it's manufactured."

That's how I took it too.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
