She seems salvageable, a little welding and it’ll be ready for it’s next adventure.

I hit a submerged stump once at speed in a 13ft Boston whaler. I basically ruined a two stroke outboard and made my father furious. Hitting submerged stuff sucks big time.

I used to live in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in the early 1960s. We’d run our little 16’ Mirro aluminum boat up and down the Fox River and see the huge ships being cut in two to make them longer or taller. Very impressive to a young teen.

If they can get these two pieces to a dry dock, I’d guess they could put it back together.
