Texas Sheriff Jim Skinner Plays Video of Dallas Area Deputy in a Shoot Out with Cartel Driver Near Dallas

By Jim Hoft | Feb. 5, 2024 3:40 pm

Via Ben Bergquam at RAV…

Sheriff Jim Skinner from Collin County, Texas, played video of a cartel driver caught in a shootout with a Texas Sheriff’s deputy. This was shocking video.

Sheriff Jim Skinner is a 32-year law-enforcement veteran who serves as the Collin County Sheriff in the northeast quadrant of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Sheriff Jim Skinner: What we have seen lately. Well, not lately. This has been going on now for hard for the past 18 months. But the level of violence that we’re encountering with the cartel operatives, the cartel soldiers, is ever increasing… Typically, we seize about $200,000 in cash a week. That’s southbound, along with guns and ammunition northbound. I can’t even begin to tell you, but tons of drugs…

…As the deputy approached the car the second time, after reloading and approached the window, this guy raised the pistol up at the deputy. So there was just no way he was going to surrender. And we see this more and more. And now on all these load vehicles that we’re stopping, we never, ever are stopping anybody that’s not on it.

And a new M.O. that we’re seeing, of course, I don’t know about everybody else, but the load vehicles now are these high performance cars. And they’re not putting them in traps anymore. They’re just putting it in Delta. Back on the back seat, they get lit, and they just run.

Ben Bergquam adds — It’s not just an invasion, this is a cartel insurgency being brought to you by the open border Democrats. Any Republican that votes with the Democrats to allow this to continue one more day it needs to be removed from office. Defund the NGO and prosecute the politicians that are behind this invasion/insurgency!

Expect more and more of this, particularly in the SW but it's possible anywhere.

coming to a combat-theater near you, I guess. Brandon ought to go on a ride-along with a deputy a time or two, get a couple of scoops, have some incoherent conversation about corn-pop and see what it's like to work on a two way pistol range.

It wouldn't change what's left of his mind but it would be fun to watch the video.

God Bless Texas.

That dirty piece of shit Biden knows it’s happening; not only from videos like this, but from his handlers. Of course, they’ll continue to have their leftist plant Haley shrieking for republicans to stop keeping the border open by not signing the bill that will keep the border open. Fucking traitors.

If this is true then that county is doing pretty good off of this terrible open door policy.

that's over 10 Million dollars a year in income.

Has anybody figured out that these Cartels would not exist if 'we' did not support them by buying their drugs?

Set up some kind of bounty system on drug dealers, and I think they will shut this stuff down PDQ.

If they are stopping 200K/week, that means what, 2M per week going through?

As someone with a bachelors in economics, I always thought going after the dealers was the wrong approach. Our problem is that we aren’t serious about getting rid of drugs, just the people dealing them. If the penalties for being caught with any amount of drugs were five years hard labor for the first offense, fifteen years hard labor for the second, and life in hard labor for the third, the users would disappear. No users, no demand. No demand, no dealers, problem solved. We’re just not sure we’re serious about solving the problem.

And to be fair, I’m conflicted a bit myself. While I think drugs are bad, I can’t help but wonder how the founding fathers would feel about the government telling citizens what they can and can’t put in their bodies.

Damn right!
and you need to arm every deputy with a AR-15 and purge the earth of these cartel vermin

when you get in a pursuit, out comes the black rifle and its rock n roll time with 30 rounds of law and order.
no pistols required.
Start punching holes with authority, takes the guesswork out.

The more fascinating question would be what would they say about modern day Portland and the lack of drug laws in Oregon. The lawlessness and lack of personal responsibility that drug use on that level brings. I’m gonna bet some wooden teeth that they would not be pleased and call it “freedom”
