Is it lost on you that you just interjected politics into this thread?

Do you guys see how pervasive this shit is??? You're doing it automatically, reflexively. Didn't even cross your mind, did it? Is it any wonder that there's such a rule in place in this forum??

Para, you are entirely correct. I posted my comment without thinking; I didn't intend to post a political comment, but it has become part of the daily lexicon these days.

My apologies for cluttering the thread with a political comment. I will try to be more mindful in the future.

Quite ironic isn't it? The group who wants all officers in body cams are very often the ones who end up taking it in the shorts when the body cam footage is reviewed. This woman is a special kinda stupid though.

It has been my position that while the body cameras are there to keep Police Officers "in line" and to document any incorrect behavior, they will prove to be an asset to the Police. I also predicted that in due time the same people that were the loudest in demanding them will be the same people that will call for their removal.

Nice Work.

Glad that the officer pursued it to the fullest extent and a filthy liar is out of a job.

So a fire department employee lies to try to get s police officer fired and now she is a felon - not too bright is she. Thanks to the officer seems like the Dekalb county taxpayers came out ahead on this one too. Good job on the officer for following through on this.

I thought it was the police department which brings a case to the grand jury. In this case an attorney personally working for the officer went to the grand jury. Is that common?

Can an attorney working for a private citizen ask the grand jury to look into a matter?

If you lived in Atlanta, that's one question that you would never have to ask. It's not about your capabilities. It's about the color of your skin, and nothing else. Life around here is nothing but a perpetual payback for things. Payback and revenge.

Think I'm exaggerating? Nope

Actually, I see body cams vindicating officers far more than they get LEO's in trouble. It shows that either LEO's are more professional that was expected (my belief) or the body cams keep them in line. In either case, it's a good thing and provides a lot of entertainment, too.

Had a FF Medic partner tell me, when asked why he was taking the Capts test:
"Have you seen the current list? I'd rather work with them because there's no fucking way I'm working for them."

I was just going to post something along those lines...that I bet these cop-haters now rue the day body cams were lobbied for so hard by the left and now we see the truth come to light. It (the truth) ALWAYS does...

My exact thoughts. I have no conclusive proof but my guess is and officers body and dash cams vindicate them more often than not. I can hardly wait for the day the SJWs are demanding that they be removedBig Grin
