The Main Thing Is Not To Get Excited |
And, "I'm only one guy, what can I do?" You can go to the meeting, say your piece, write a letter, fund the opposition, make 'em tell you no, right out loud and tell you why, Insist that they follow their own rules, and don't let them coerce you into using their pronouns. Make fun of them, mock their logic (so-called), write an op-ed piece, speak up for a candidate, understand in your soul that politics is local, that's where you can be heard. Get your guy on the city council, support him for the county commission, send money when he runs for the lege, and put his sign in your front yard when he runs for congress. When the GDSs run un-opposed raise hell with your party guys, let them know they need to work harder. And all of that? that's a couple of hours a month; Can you spare it? _______________________ | |||
