I would guess and hope that several feet would extend underground. The wall should - again a guess and hope - be considered to be part of a system. Listening devices could detect the noise from digging, and foot patrols and satellite and other surveillance, or all of the above, could see where they come out on the other side. It won't stop 100% of breaching attempts, but 95-99% ought to be attainable. |
