Starting to see a good bit of them here as well. Grainger County, TN. Unless they have always been here and I just never took notice. Male Rottie absolutely hates them and will go crazy until they fly away. They will eat animals that have been dead for quite some time.

Because son, it is what you are supposed to do.

I have to give the black vultures credit as far as cleaning up carrion. Yesterday afternoon when I went out to cut firewood I noticed a dead deer that appeared completely untouched, like it just died.
As I approached when riding back late this morning to haul back the rest of my wood, a couple black vultures flew off from near where the carcass was. When I got there it was literally picked clean to the bone!

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Well, maybe poor and uneducated - but I never knew him to kill any animal for sport or fun. His family depended on the chickens and also the squirrels and rabbits he killed. As far as trailer park, no, he never knew what it was like to enjoy indoor plumbing as in a trailer until he served (honorably) in the army during Vietnam.

Some would see the killing of a hawk just to help his family survive as trashy and shitty. So be it - I give every person a right to their opinion. However, I suspect there are many of us that would take a human being life just to help our family to survive. Many of our fellow countrymen view the act of killing for any reason to be trashy and shitty. So be it - I will take care of my family to my utmost and woe be to any creature, man or beast, that would impede that. More power to you................
