When I had a problem with my sinus draining causing throat irritation. I take generic Clariden from Costco. It solved both problems. I now have air filters at home and now I don't need to take the pills.

A few years ago I had the same feeling of something stuck in the back of my throat. Sometimes it would make me cough and gag. After much research I found I had some tonsil stones as I was told my tonsils are very large so food particles sometimes get caught and accumulate there forming these tonsil stones. I would gargle a mouth wash 2 times a day for about a week and this seems to have cleared them for me. Some people have to get them manually dislodged by poking their tonsils removing the tonsil stones. I hope this helps. God Bless "Always legally conceal carry. Great info guys. So many things I hadn’t considered These go to eleven.

Go Vols! |
Mix up a stiff Old Fashioned. Sip until the funny feeling is gone. Also - impinged or irritated nerves can sometimes cause throat issues like that, or so I’ve heard.

Tried to do this last night. Bartender put vermouth and soda water in it. Good grief. Oh and she shook it. There’s a thread in What’s Your Deal on this specific issue. How can I get well if bartenders are getting a Manhattan confused with an Old Fashioned and then diluting with soda water. These go to eleven.

Frayedends, you've actually gotten some good advice here. I agree with enigmatic about treatment for nasal allergies and sinus drainage.
ENT is definitely the next place to go. Their instruments (fiberoptic scopes) are superior to anything a PCP would have for looking in the mouth, throat, and larynx. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"
