Last time I was in N.Z. the whites stayed far away from the Maoris and vice versa.
So one day, I chatted up some local Maoris and couldn't have found a friendlier, more pleasant group to talk to. All well spoken, easy to get along with, great sense of humor and so on. Frankly, I found myself liking them better than white people. (I'm a white guy) To be fair, the white N.Z.'s are friendly as hell too. So, I'm not knocking them. I just couldn't understand why they weren't mixing.
Sadly, the local whites and Maoris could be closer, but I guess avoiding each other is ingrained. It saddened the hell out of me.

That is scary.

Apart from the cultural appropriation, I'm not sure the tat works on her. Maybe she should try a different shade of lipstick?

They're accusing her of both "cultural appropriation" AND "white privilege", in the same sentence no less! Shit just got real.

This cultural app. is so laughable.
I can't eat Italian food, because I'm not Italian or fill in the blank.

If you sincerely believe in this C. A. nonsense, I'll be the first to point out when you Mr/Mrs. C.A. wear, eat, speak C.A. anything beyond your interpretation of C.A. I'll be happy to remind you of it.
Now, take off that parka with the fur lining, it was invented by native americans or some one just like them form russia...P.S. we can't call them Indians, even though, they've no trouble being referred to as 'Indian' among themselves, you dipshits...
Libs, commies, of all sorts, you're a ludicrous pack of b.s-itters and sadly have no clue what pathetic hypocrites you are.

And she's a life coach? Helping people avoid bad decisions?
Hmmm.. Kind of like a fat exercise consulant or broke financial planner

I think the comparisons are appropriate.
(Sidenote. We knew a financial planner who was big on leveraged investing, wanted us to mortgage hour house to the max and invest the money with him. We didn't. With the 2008 recession, he went bankrupt.)

That cuts through to the core of the matter. I laughed and admire your insight.
As was quoted, it's stupid on both sides.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
