Tejas421The Dog 30-Second Rule
This happens all the time:
Our two dogs are outside. There is a scratch at the front door. I stop my work, open the door and the first dog walks in. I lean out the door and look for the second dog- nowhere to be seen. I then go back in the house and continue what I was doing.
30 seconds later the second dog scratches at the door.

RogueJSKStuff like that is one of the reasons that some of the first commands taught to my dogs were "inside" and "outside".
They go out and come in on command.
I'm in charge. Not them.

henryaz We just give them their own door. It opens into a 1 acre fenced compound. It is the largest size the company makes (model called the "behemoth"), because we have Irish Wolfhounds. The dog coming out is a bit smaller, an Ibizan Hound.
