Powers77Need advice on buying a walker
The brakes are the big difference between models. Check Goodwill or similar. I was in our local one the other day and there were like 3 different ones.

sonnydazeDRIVE is the best "common" brand by far.

Redleg06Bettysnephew's comment, "...had to squeeze the brakes to release them to walk.", is spot on. I had a rollator while going through replacement (and subsequent bout of infection) and wished that I had found one with this feature. Never had a fall but it was constantly on my mind.

SigmundWe got one like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Medline...Walker/dp/B00I6GQDU6It's not as sturdy as the Drive model members recommended, but it was what insurance would pay for. Mrs. Sigmund is not training for the Senior Olympics, it'll work fine.
Thanks to all for the advice.
