I follow this guy on YouTube. He's a fellow Virginian, a deer hunter, and doctor. He's got some really good hunting and gun videos. He's down to earth and just pleasant to watch. But he also has a few videos on relieving pain. At 55, I'm starting to suffer some back and joint pain when I start the day, particularly the day after a workout or 5 mile walk through the woods. And I don't want to get into the habit of taking NSAIDs for aches and pains. I started doing these simple exercises in the mornings and have to say they work very, very well for me. They're now my daily routine. _____________ "I enter a swamp as a sacred place—a sanctum sanctorum. There is the strength—the marrow of Nature." - Henry David Thoreau

Thanks for posting the link I am always on the look out for exercises to help with my back and neck pain. This is especially helpful today because for some unknown reason my back, and hips were locked up.

I've been strengthening the glutes to solve horrible low back pain. It seems to be working. That's the top one, and also a similar reverse plank with a dumbell at the hips, so adding weight.
