Last I read, the Courier was going to be Focus-based. So I imagine it'll have a lower step-in compared to the Ranger/Colorado/Tacoma.

The Focus Active is 1.2" raised, compared to the standard Focus. Not sure if they'd further raise it for the truck or go with that.

Am hoping they have a few Broncos(pandemic permitting...) at the area new car show that normally happens in late January. The Big Bend package seems like a good mix. A Courier may be too early to wish to see.

I didn’t notice anything small, but I also didn’t look that close.

When I got back tonight I saw several of the vehicles back in the lot so I think they are testing them locally and not just passing through. I’m leaving early in the morning, likely earlier than they are, and will look again.

Carscoops have purportedly images of the 2022 Maverick, alongside the current Ranger.

The image formats are too large to post here.

The Carscoops article told me what I hope for; lower in height than the Ranger, but not that much smaller otherwise. Had three Rangers over time ('86 to '01), but had trouble climbing up into a '20 at the dealer and scratched my head at the effort involved to reach over into the bed for something.

But I will take a good look at the Bronco too. Please, my '08 Fusion, hang on a little longer! Wink

The build and price is now available on Ford’s website. About what I expected, right in line with the Jeep Wrangler. I’ve got a reservation in on a 4 door Badlands. The online build price is $55,250.

Doug Demuro with an early review of 'some' of the details of the new Bronco.

I have a reservation for a Base with Sasquatch package but the B&P doesn’t allow manual with the Sasquatch. Other places said they were going to allow that combo.

I've read multiple reports of the manual being available with the Sasquatch pkg.
May just not be on the b&p yet.

Sounding like a lot of reservations may not be fulfilled until '22 & that Ford has dropped some options, I read about the only roof option being plain black on the first production run.

It’s a Ford and all new Fords suck.
Lots of recalls and Cops use them.

No doubt. My question though...I wonder how many recalls and warranty repairs they'll be in for before Ford works out all the kinks? My early bet...a bunch.

Yup, you are right. The introduction of a new vehicle is usually followed up by recalls and repairs. How much there is of that remains to be seen. A few potential buyers will hold off for now but my guess it will not slow down the "wave". That is one cool looking vehicle. Smile

Well. I guess we don't need to continue to debate how good or bad the new Bronco will be since it won't be here for a while. Also, for you manual transmission purists, well, you're going to wait until 2022 (or beyond) before you even get a shot at one of these with a manual.

2021 Ford Bronco Delayed, Not Coming until Next Summer

Of course, if it didn't take Ford 6-8 years to develop and release this thing, current conditions wouldn't have been an issue.

Well you can't buy it, but my local dealer has had one in his showroom since the end of October. Pretty nice.

IIRC dealers were sent a demo that can't be sold for something like 6 months.
Unless he's holding it for some other reason.

The Everglades are undeniably cool, semi-tropically cool.

Naming a new Ford Bronco version "Everglades" is ... interesting. Florida moto-kitsch.

Like naming a GM Truck/SUV Model "Denali".
