I know these Exothermic flamethrowers have been mentioned here previously, but they have a relatively new one that mounts on a picatinny rail (or can be handheld with the included handle).

These are normally in the $600-$700 range, but Palmetto State Armory has them on clearance for $349.

Someone asked me if it could be used for home defense, and my answer was "once".

A couple of videos:

You must post a video of the first trial. Seems like a fun way to start a bonfire.

I do a fair amount of burning around the property in the spring. That thing would come in handy.

Of course, it'd help in getting rid of the bodies as well...

You saw that too eh?! I spend a good deal of time on PSA’s website. I was tempted by that one quite a bit! Big Grin

I am eagerly awaiting your range report.

For the last several years whenever my wife asks what I’d like for a birthday or anniversary, my answer has been a flamethrower. It was actually my nephew who told me about it being on sale, and for that price the time has come.

My extended family gets together annually for our version of a family reunion- crawfish boil and “leadfest”. I can’t wait to spring this on them next year. Will be worth every penny.

You can use kerosene, white gas camping fuel, gasoline, or even a 50/50 gas/diesel mix.

The guy who makes them used to work with me for years in the f.d.. He is a super nice guy and backs his product 100%. Many times he has replaced units that were broken due to user error and he replaced them. Been wanting one myself but I don't have any property to use it on.
