| It depends on what you need it for.
When I need a VPN which is not often, I fire up Opera, a free browser with a free VPN built-in.
It says I am now in Sweden, last time it was Azerbaijan.
I can also set it to be in the US. |

This is true with Express VPN, a lot of sites I have to access with the VPN off. |

This is the reason I ditched PIA after many years. It seemed like half the sites I tried to go to blocked access. Switched to Proton VPN (same people as Proton mail) been good so far. |

| I use Bitdefender Antivirus. It comes with a limited amout on free VPN use (200 MB per day maybe). It opens a separate non-chrome browser for extra security when it detects you are visiting a financial website. It worked so well that I bought the unlimited version. Quite reasonably priced I thought.
Basic subscription gets you a license for devices. It connects quickly and doesnt seem to slow down my fast internet connection. Ive only found 1 or 2 websites that think I'm in a foreign country and I have to manually change it to US. If I leave the computer (Lenovo -win 10) unused for a while it will disconnect and I have to reconnect it. It works on my Samsung tablet but not as well. |
