Mad as hell about specific pricing
I bought several gallons of Outdoor Wet & Forget almost a year ago, which I use to keep the cement surfaces (lots) on my property from turning with mold and mildew. I used my last remaining gallon this past weekend.

So I went to Lowes to restock, and the price was MORE than 3x I paid for it last summer. I couldn't believe it. They were priced at $33 per gallon, which is basically, insane. So I checked on Amazon, and those sellers wanted even more, at $39 per gallon.

So ok, we've got bad inflation. But over 300% increase in less than one year ? You gotta be kidding me. So anyway I'm incensed.

I GUESS the Lowes people and the Manufacturer and their distributors will eventually figure out that most of their previous customers will not pay that much. I don't know any people who would pay $33 to $40 per gallon for this stuff. It's great stuff, but it isn't rocket fuel.

This increase isn't just regular old bad inflation, this is highway robbery. How can a business continue garnering continued and more support for a product that no-one wants to buy because it's overpriced ?

To me at least, this Wet & Forget pricing is pretty much fubar.

What say you guys?

?
My Amazon link shows as $19.99/gal or did I do it wrong? They have 2-packs for a bit over $38.

Should a complaint of this type be enjoyed in “what’s your deal” ?

It is absolutely outrageous. Eggs formerly $1.29dz,now anywhere from $3 to $8dz.

Family is building a house that 3 years ago would of cost maybe 175k. Now $350k Eek

It is truly a sad state of affairs.

Crap, I got size/inflated. Definitely 'did it wrong' - always pays to read the fine print. I thought that only came in gallon jugs!

The price of cat litter is getting ridiculous. It has almost doubled since about 2.5 years ago.

I was going to buy 6 months worth but I think I’ll get 9 months, maybe 12, this week.

a bag of dog food for the carpet hippo went up 35% from the last time I bought some.

Used to get an 8 pack of 20oz bottles of soda, now its 6 bottles of 16oz for twice the price.

I can tell you working in the chemical industry for coatings products, some raw materials have gone up over 50% and many are just not available unless you sign on to pay outrageous prices to ensure your supply chain.

I don't know who the hell is claiming inflation is at 8%, I don't know anything up "only" 8% its out of control. Wages haven't kept up in years. So you work longer for less money. to buy lesser goods and worse services. I still cant believe how many products are hard to find in modern day America.

I paid $1.24/dz last week for large eggs last week. I took a picture because I didn’t think anyone would believe me:

Get the concentrated stuff. Much cheaper.

That dilution is "ready to use". the stuff I mentioned is concentrate, makes six gallons at 1:5 concentrate to water mix. So this $19.99 equiv for six gallons is $120 dollars, 4x the cost of one gallong at $33. So your deal is five times worse than the already bad deal.

Yes, works great, been using it a few years. My point was Rocket Fuel is more expensive, but at the current price it might as well be rocket fuel. Or somethig like that.

You're missing the point. You pressure wash the mold and mildew off the concrete. After it dries you spary this stuff to prevent the mold and mildew from coming back. Lasts a year or more depending on conditions. The darn stuff actually works very well. You can't beat it with a stick.

Used to use that stuff, found a product that kicks its bee-hind, It is concentrated, gallon is $13, 2.5 is $29. I mix it in a hand held sprayer and hit the areas needed, in no time the mold and mildew is gone, way quicker, safe around plants and lawns.
