We have been getting nailed with bad winter weather here in Chicago for the last few days.
First a snow storm then the last several days below zero temps.
The TV I ordered from Costco, no delivery, canceled day after day.
The USPS mailman, no show for several days now.
FedEx no delivery's for several days now. not even a explanation or when they think they might deliver.

The UPS guy, has been here everyday, never even behind schedule.
Delivery service can be hard to compare when things are normal. When things are tough thats when we can separate the "men from the boys".

That shows me what they are made of and why my choice in shipping will be UPS from now on!

Rare for us to see praise for shippers...usually, just gripes!

I, for one, find our UPS system/driver very reliable. Even to the point that he will often deliver UPS SurePost items directly to our house instead of dropping them at the PO.

Every other service has given us the blues at one point or the other, especially the combo services like UPS Mail Innovations, etc. Man, those things plain suck!

My UPS guy is awesome. If the package he delivers is small enough, he hides it behind the bushes so it can’t be seen from the street.

UPS & FedEx are admirable here. USPS pretty much sucks. Tracking systems the same.

No UPS delivery around here this week, mail one day so far, but FedX delivered.

I have been thinking for the last 2 years or so that UPS has really outshined FedEx. I will actually buy from companies I know who ship UPS over companies who ship FedEx.

USPS has been good, but I was disappointed when they didn’t deliver the last two days. Every business I know of is open, but usps is closed?

To me there is no comparison between UPS and Fed Ex. Fed Ex...at least around here is really bad.

Not saying this because one of our sons works there, but true in this area.

Son works for UPS as a supervisor about 1.5 hours from us. Yesterday 8 drivers called in sick(cold weather flu, I bet).
He had to drive a truck, lots of overtime for all the drivers, making up for the ones who did not show. None of the regular drivers who showed up were very happy about the ones who did not, none of them wanted to work for 10-11 hours in sub zero temps with 15 mph winds.
