The cost / benefit calculations for these type of things never crossed the feasibility threshold for me. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Cost/benefit, lol, good one. If that was an actual practiced standard, how many businesses would fail? Start with payday lenders, move over to strip clubs, it goes on and on....I would venture to say less than 10 percent of the general population weighs the cost of anything against the benefit of it. Ummm...shiny!

Who wants to bet that the first iteration of this meme at the ad agency wasn't "the running of the pit bulls?" Or that the idea wasn't shelved for political correctness?

"Bulldogs" is objectively funnier than "Pitbulls" because the joke lands on the first syllable rather than the second. Yes I work in Advertising. (even pitched Geico a couple of times).

Speaking of bulls... Another video from ground level (kind of gory) Nice is overrated "It's every freedom-loving individual's duty to lie to the government." Airsoftguy, June 29, 2018

Those big guys should be used for Police K9 work... They don't mess around by golly. They could kick some bad guy ass 10 times over.

I love it when guys leap over a wall thinking "I'm safe now" only to have the bull jump and clear the wall by two feet and run the guy down. Nice is overrated "It's every freedom-loving individual's duty to lie to the government." Airsoftguy, June 29, 2018

Growing up around cows. Having been chased several times by them. You're a F'ing idiot to square off against one. The power & weight of these animals are off the chart. My grand dad had this red Brahma Bull that as sunset looked EXACTLY like satan him self. Big Scary Bastard. EDIT: I take it back. A quick google fu I think it was a "Red Devon Bull". His horns crew downward and framed his face. This bastage was scary! Train how you intend to Fight Remember - Training is not sparring. Sparring is not fighting. Fighting is not combat.

Hell no! Legend has it Hemingway actually got into a terrific fight at a Spanish bull ring because he rooted for the bull. If Papa Hemingway did it, it is, by definition, as cool as if Steve McQueen did it. Nice is overrated "It's every freedom-loving individual's duty to lie to the government."
