I just did, and probably shouldn't have.

I know that it isn't much more than a statistical average with a few modifiers for lifestyle, but it still bothered me a bit.

When you start to put a number to what you might have left and subtract some years that might not be all that healthy, it makes you wonder how many goals will be unrealized.

I'll get over it, but it's my middle aged rant for the day. Frown

I ran one and it told me that I have been dead for two years. Frown

No I have not ran a death/life calculator.

It's kinda like the weather.
What was it yesterday? I don't care.
What's it gonna be tomorrow. I don't care.

Just look outside - it's full of opportunity!

Cheers~

Two separate companies recently declined the opportunity to provide me with a life insurance policy. I think I’ll pass on the calculator. Wink

Almost 7 years ago, I received a diagnosis of a condition for which there is neither treatment nor cure that results in 80% death rate within 5 years from diagnosis.

So much for life expectancy calculators!

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

They use general known research and can tell you what you need to improve on.

Your heredity is only about 15 to 20 percent so you can look at your parents families and get an idea of how long they lived.

My mother's side lived into their 90's+ while my fathers side to the high 80's. One aunt/uncle is now 99 but they are picky at what they eat and walk every day.

Today, they need to factor in the chance of getting hit by a cellphone driver. I have already dogged a bullet in that area.

Now that you can get your DNA checked for $200, I can see people changing their lifestyle and living a lot longer. They used a super computer with artificial intelligence and ran 1000's of research reports and came up with a product to extend your life.

I was already taking some of the ingredients in the Ageless Cell.

No, but mine was almost reset to zero when a van drifted into the lane I was riding in.

Do this take a tape measure lay it out on the ground take a guess at what year you are going to kick the bucket based on family e.t.c. in inches. then look at you're current age. Kind of scary how much is gone already huh?

Funny you should mention that...
I was going to make the comment that unless you are underwriting life insurance, what difference does it make?
Other than to remind you that you should live and enjoy every day!

At 52, even under the best of circumstances, there is more trail behind me than ahead.

I just ran one of the calculators. Apparently I’m going to live to be 87 — I’ll take it.

It subtracted 2.6 years off my life though because I don’t drink. Frown

Just take this in place of the wine and add 7++ years or more. Resveratrol comes from grapes without the alcohol. Smile

Any moment in this world can be your last.

Every moment you live brings you closer to death.

Isnt that all you need to know?

You bring this shit up while I'm sitting here having chest pains. OK, I'm a gonner for sure. The only wonder drug I'm aware of that works is high explosives (nitroglycern). Its too far for me to go get a dose. It works well even in handguns. Ever wonder what one of the little pills would do with a booster charge of Bullseye in a .38? I wonder if anyone has ever tried it, just for fun?

OK, we're gonna die. Some of us sooner than others. Shugart says he's already dead and been that way for 2 years. Me, I'll give it 5 more minutes and if the pain doesn't stop I'll try to crawl to the bedroom where my stash is located. You guys want a tape measure and count in inches. Somewhere I've got a dial indicator that reads in .0001s. Maybe I'll stick a note on it to send it to Jallen down in Texas. He can be next.

Also becoming clear I won't make it to 70 (3 full more months.) And my wife and I won't make to to 50 years (2 1/2 more years). Here's a hot stock tip. Sell your drug company stock. When I croak my widow won't be buying all the high dollar and non-working drugs.
