Well he was quite clear actually. If you are just wearing them to Walmart which i suspect is true use fabric softener.

If you are wearing them for their wicking ability then don’t use fabric softener. He was pretty clear no need to get all snarky and “do you work in the sock sector” stupid.

I much prefer Balega brand socks for all activities especially those requiring wicking.
