Cold brew coffee (and tea)
I'm not sure I'm doing it right. And obviously I'm not using premium coffee like aficionados would.

I take 1 cup of Folgers (red canister), add 3 cups of filtered water from the fridge. Let it sit in the french press for about 18 hours (usually on the counter overnight then in the fridge for another half day).

It comes out pretty flavorful but mild in acidity and other harsh factors. Goes well with a dash of milk/cream.

I kind of like it. I've also started to cold brew tea. 3 tea bags in a liter pitcher. Water from the fridge. Let sit on the counter overnight and then into fridge for awhile until the color looks right. I give the pitcher a swirl every now and then. Takes a little longer than coffee but some out 'sweet' and tasty.

That's about how I make it using the Aldi brand coffee. Longer process, good flavor, and nice for days when I don't want hot coffee.

I do the same with the french press using a dark French roast coffee beans ground up. I will put it in the garage fridge and sometimes will forget about it for a couple days. Actually enjoy it.

Do the same with tea, only during the summer making sun tea putting the water and tea bags in the sun for a few hours before moving it to the fridge to get cold. Will put in sun later in the evening then the fridge over night.
