Very Humbling

He fought in Pacific in WWII, lost a brother in Korea, a son in Vietnam and a great-grand son in Iraq. If anyone deserves a gold star, he does.

We were sitting in Papadeux's for a "get out of the office" lunch. An older gentleman came up and thanked us for what we do. He was wearing a USMC hat when the conversation came up about his service. He was a DI at Paris Island during Korea when he lost his brother. His son flew Huey's in Vietnam and his great-grandson was killed in Sadr City. This was on the back on the bill.
Very few things choke me up, 9/11, taps and Gold Star parents.
