Sort of. Nostalgia and utility mostly, but one never knows and I'd rather not be caught with my pants down. I'm also looking for an early 70s pickup. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

That's actually a good point on the EMP. I have two classic motos that would survive a EMP. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

In 1973 two acquaintances who frequented the motorcycle shop I worked at (they both previously worked there) set out from LaGrange, IL, to Alaska, on CT90 Hondas. They left around June as the roads at the time were supposed to be relatively clear and both made it up there. One of the bikes made it back to LaGrange, beat up but still running . The other did not but if I recall, it was sold during the return trip. Those engines and similar variants were some of the best designs Honda made (IMO). In particular, the semi-auto clutch was quite an interesting design for that period of time. ----------------------------------- Regards, Steve The anticipation is often greater than the actual reward

Yesterday I was getting my Jeep serviced and sitting in the driveway was a Trail Guide 110, looked almost new. I asked the owner and it's his, 737 original miles! He hopped on it, gave a couple of kicks and he was off. Told me he turned down $4000.00 for it, saving it for his son. ________________________________ "Nature scares me" a quote by my friend Bob after a rough day at sea.
