All kidding aside there is a ton to do. There is an old lighthouse on Ft Story down toward the ocean front worth a look also. Ft Monroe Casement Museum is worth an hour. It’s on the Hampton side of the tunnel. (Avoid the tunnel during rush hour). The base is open and has a micro brewery and a good seafood restaurant called the Deadrise. A former Marine Pilot is a co owner.
