You can bet that these monitoring platforms won’t be cutting any slack for the times you go any faster than posted speed limits by even single digits. Zero margin for error. 56 in a 55 will be ravenously pounced upon by insurers as an excuse for penalties. It may, however, increase spoofing software I suspect…

I just applied for my report. Should get something in the mail within 10 days they say.

All things considered, the form was reasonably simple and only required my DL number although you could give your SS number instead.

If you want to put a tattletale dongle that reports everything back to the ins. company in your car, that should be between you and the company. The car makers have no business doing this.
