Can anyone help me ID these for a friend that inherited them?

No, not like Bill Clinton |
From those pics, I got nothing. May be replicas, who knows.

That .22 was sold by Sears. I have one identical to it. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.

1861 or '63 Springfield? Hard to tell from the poor quality photos. I see too much ram rod, has it been "sporterized"? The barrel barrel bolster on the one with the broken stock makes me think it's a reproduction. _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

Thanks! Sorry about the poor photos, that's all I was given. Other than guessing one was a .22 I don't know anything about them.

Step by step walk the thousand mile road |
The top one looks like a Springfield 1861. Real or replica I can't say from these pictures. The bottom looks like a typical Hawken Plains Rifle. It too could be real or not; however, for some reason it makes me think it might be a replica. Worth: $20 (for both) to $500 each.
