It's like The Onion. I get a laugh from them almost every day. Here's a sample: 4-Hour-Long Political Lecture To Be Disguised As Awards Show HOLLYWOOD, CA—A report coming out of Hollywood this afternoon revealed that a 4-hour-long political lecture scheduled for Sunday will be disguised as an awards show in order to drum up interest. "See, if we just asked people to tune in for four hours of virtue-signaling and political posturing, we'd have zero viewers," said one of the show's organizers. "If we want to keep the three or four viewers we still have left, we have to pretend the purpose of this ceremony is to hand out awards for excellent movies released in the last year." People going to the stage ostensibly to accept an award and say a few words about what it means to them will instead lecture the nation on how to behave and what political party they should support. These people, so-called "actors," will give presentations on subjects ranging from white privilege and wealth inequality to gender bias and immigration. They will then retire to their multi-million-dollar mansions, their good deeds having been completed for the year. At publishing time, projections had indicated the viewership would be cut in half this year, leaving one bored guy named Clint in San Francisco as the lone person expected to watch the show this year. I keep a link to it on my desk top. Some of their stuff is priceless. I saw that the Jussie Smollet/CNN "story" got fact checked my Snopes and was found to be "false." Here is the Jussie Smollet/CNN one. It's damned near believable: Jussie Smollett Offered Job At CNN After Fabricating News Story Out Of Thin Air ATLANTA, GA—While Empire actor Jussie Smollett has been having a tough week so far, there appears to be a silver lining: cable news channel CNN has offered Smollett a job as an investigative reporter and on-air anchor after witnessing his skills at fabricating a story entirely out of thin air. CNN producers were reportedly impressed throughout the ongoing saga of Smollett's apparent hoax attack on himself. They realized early on the facts didn't add up but were fascinated with how well the actor kept the narrative going. An HR rep quickly reached out to Smollett to see if he'd be interested in taking on a position at the news organization after news broke that the entire thing was probably fabricated. "Smollett has exactly the kind of skills we look for at our fine organization," said CNN correspondent Brian Stelter. "He picked a narrative, made up all the relevant facts and details, and stuck with his story in spite of glaring holes in the plot. It's hard to find people who understand our core values here at CNN, but Smollett seems to be just the guy for us." The actor has accepted the offer and is now undergoing training to learn how to weave even more intricate narratives ex nihilo, according to insiders. Babylon Bee is one of the only sites on the web I might actually subscribe to. Did you know that Snopes actually fact-checked the BB?
And the Babylon Bee’s response: “Snopes rated Babylon Bee world’s most accurate news source.” Link _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!" | |||

The astonishing thing being that "some readers" required clarification from Snopes. And they, presumably, walk among us. And vote.
