Congress and the President can't work together to deal with the 'progressive BS' that was left behind and now this. I've got a 40 year old son who has a decent job with a large electrical company here in Dallas. He has company insurance, but it's so dumbed down to match Obamacare that it's useless. He's divorced and has 3 kids that he covers with his policy. There's a $2500.00 deductible one everyone of them, so he's staring at $10K a year in deductibles. On top of that the policy won't start paying at what it calls full value until some percentage of all of the deductibles are met (50% I think). Obummer told everyone the lie that 85% of the folks had insurance provided by the company they work for and Obamacare wouldn't effect them. Right! Everyone knew it was a lie, but passage is history now. He has a bad back. We're talking about at least one ruptured disc. He had a discography done last week and it showed this one disc leaking like a sieve into his spinal column. Another one just above it that is probably bulging prior to starting to leak. Surgery is the only 'cure' and it will take him something like 6 weeks to recover and go back to work on light duty. Pain mess are the only thing keeping him going right now and he stays in a 7-9pain zone constantly. His insurance turned him down for surgery! Since there's no tumor or complete degeneration of multiple discs, they won't pay for it nor any therapy. He asked the surgeon's office about an appeal and they told him it'd like take 2-3 months and medication won't keep him going long enough to even complete the appeal. Sorry, mostly venting, but I wish Obama, Pelosie and the rest of those idiots had to live in the kinda pain this kid is dealing with. Asshats! ———- Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.

Sadly pretty standard since Obamacare. Before that mess ( speaking both as a consumer and a health practitioner) we had several classes of health care: 1) good quality commercial plans like employer supplied 2) lesser quality plans from employers but still not bad 3) Medicare and replacement plans also fairlygood 4) Medicaid for the free stuff army 5) uninsured Now as a socialist agenda have basically everyone ( with the limited exception of most government employees and a few union sponsored health plans) a system where everyone's insurance sucks equallly. Even as a health professional my choices include plans that either cost me over $400 a month out of pocket or with 5k deductibles. As a "gray zone" military retiree I even looked into buying into tricare ( the military type health insurance) and for my wife and I that would ( although coverage is pretty good) would cost around 15k a year. My personal opinion is the underlying agenda was to make health care such a mess that ( had another leftist become president) the government had "no choice" but to step in and create a single payer system ( i.e. Socialized medicine)
