Wife is getting induced tonight. **He was born today**PICS ADDED IN OP
Shes a combat medic working at a clinic on post, and is 35 weeks 5 days along. She checked her BP and her PA walked in and saw 179 over 139 and sent her straight to the hospital and was told she has pre eclampsia. Dr says she is getting induced tonight, but the NICU on post is full, so we are Nashville bound tonight. Should be able to get it done without a C-section, so thats a relief.
Her mom is pissed that I’m not acting super worried and freaking out, but it doesnt help the situation to be. Luckily its just us, no family close by until next week.
Wish us luck! First kid for both of us, Barrett Alexander.
ETA:
Barrett Alexander was born today at 1331. He is 5lbs 4oz and 18.25” long. Both he and momma are safe and healthy! She went from 2-10cm in 2 hours and he was out in 4 pushes! He cried and peed immediately and is in great shape for 36 weeks. Pics to come

Good luck! We just had ours (7/14) at 32 weeks due to moms preeclampsia. Both mom & baby boy are doing fine. My twins were born at 35 weeks and did not need to be in the NICU. Oh, and congratulations!
