"Has any left person fired in a protest? No. Has anyone from the left killed anyone?" he asks rhetorically.

How about James Hodkinson.

They are certainly not a credible fighting force, but I think it's foolish to dismiss the idea of one of them sending bullets your way if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's kind of like saying "thugs are bad shots". May be true in general, but don't count on it.

Good point.....bullets coming your way is bad, doesn't matter if its pajama boy pulling the trigger.

Also I am wondering if ....if these groups get some world street cred if we will see advisers from Iran, Palestine, Cuba or worst the IRISH Big Grin start to train....that is their MO and would certainly not be a good thing

We laugh but remember a lot of the people on our side saying "bring it" are just as untrained and soft as they are.

Not looking to get flamed...just saying because at 44yo and just getting back to the gym has made me realize how soft I have become.

What is that old saying... a gunshot wound is a gunshot wound, regardless of whether it was provided by an expert shooter or a lucky idiot.

This is just orchestrated nonsense. It’s an effort to make everyone believe that true patriots have had enough of the injustice and racism. They’re putting down the iPhone, taking up arms, getting into they’re Prius and driving to the range to train for the fascist resistance. But once the fascists are defeated they’ll gladly lay down those horrible weapons and return to a life of unarmed peace and vegan bliss.

The will learn very quickly that life is not like Call of Duty 4. You don't get to rush in, get killed and respawn 30s later.

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

Like any conflict, this new "civil war" they are spouting off about, the stupid will die first. After that like the commie guerillas of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, they will read the books of their mentors: Mao's Little Red Book, Che Guevara's book, and of course the old faithful: The Anarchist Cookbook.

If you aren't familiar with these books, I suggest reading them. When I was in the Air Force on an Emergency Services Team (Air Force SWAT), our team leader made these books required reading for all team members (K9s didn't have to read them, but the books were read to them Big Grin). Sun Tzu's quote of “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles" still holds true.

I don't spend a lot of time fretting about the snowflakes whether or not they have an AK but I do give pause about elections which they will steal in a hard beat and contest until Hell gets chilly.

But as far as violence goes, the history of lefties is not fire and maneuver, its bombs. Uni-bomber, the 1960s with attacks on post offices, recruiting stations, induction centers, police stations, the power grid, that's the energized left. And now enters the active-shooter.
So I'm not too concerned about the auntie-fa militia, but my rifle's clean.
