This is an extremely useful little light. Fits in a pocket, and plugs into a USB to recharge. Very nice output. I'm going to buy a few of these for my team

Nitecore Tip is another winner that I highly recommend.

Streamlight website shows that this light has two brightness levels.

Which mode is it in when it turns on? Low? High? Last one that was used when it was turned off?

I second this recommendation. I have one of these, and so does my wife. It throws out 360 lumens on the turbo setting, and the three lower brightness levels cover almost any type of use or application. The Tip also charges with USB.

This was the light arc posted about a while back. I have used it as an edc at work for well over a year. Excellent little light.

It comes on at low, tap again for high. It does not have a memory.

I picked up the Coyote color model as it's High first, then low.

It's like the LCP of flashlights - the light you carry when you can't carry a flashlight. It's an amazingly small light to put out 250 lumens.

Thanks to this model, I actually carry a flashlight now more than I ever have before.
I carry mine horizontally on my belt in a Stealthgear elastic mag pouch.

If I know I'll be out at night I'll usually grab a Surefire, but for EDC, it's hard to beat.

I’m on a bit of a flashlight bender right now, one more won’t hurt. Thanks for the heads up!

I love the regular Microstream light. Given many to friends, family members as gifts and thank you. Guess my next one will be the usb one.

I bought one when Arc recommended them a few months ago. That neat clip they have can even be clipped on the bill of a baseball hat. Maybe that's common, but I had never seen that before. Great little light.

Thanks V-Tail but I don't do the Amazon thing.

You guys are confusing as well. What light is the one Arc recommended. Is it this one?

For the black ones, you double tap and hold to go from the lower output to the higher one. (So, if you press and click once, it’ll be constant on low. If you press twice and click, it’ll be constant on high.)

It doesn’t save your last selection. It’ll default to low.

However, the tan ones are, from what I understand, high only.

One of my guys recently got a black one and it’s only high output. Not sure why but he doesn’t mind.

Hope that helps!

Great little lights. Awesome stocking stuffers.
