Are these termites?
I looked in line and I’m just not sure. If so I’ll be contacting a exterminator, any recommendations? Best course of action?

Sure looks like it to me. They swarm at this time of year, leaving their "nest" and looking for a new one with a new queen. Somehow they emerge through tiny cracks in foundations or the ground. It doesn't mean they came from your home or property, but it could. If you didn't have then before, you probably will now. Not all infestations mean your home will collapse.

I don't trust "experts" who have a vested interest in finding you have a problem and want to help you out at great expense. They find you have a problem and will help themselves to your billfold. Its why multiple estimates are so helpful. The world is full of crooks, so be careful.

Looks like flying ants, the body's are different between the two as are the wings, clicking on your images makes it easy to see the body in the last picture.

Looks like an ant

I vote Ants... Termites don't have a waist.

Google “ant vs termite” images, and see comparisons.

Ha! HRK beat me to it!!

Thanks guys! We decided to sell and downsize and that was the last thing I wanted to deal with at this point. I’ll still get and inspection done and I have seen a lot of ants in the yard this year.

I recently got an apple tree that was cut down for firewood. One section had a shit ton of the little bastards. I used the image HRK posted above and determined mine were ants base on the bent antennae.

Bent antennae and waist is carpenter ant. Straight antennae and no waist is termite.
