Fighting the good fight |
Yes, it's not the cost savings that it once was. But importantly, streaming services are on demand content. I get to decide what I want to watch, and when. Not some programming executive in New York or California, leaving me just hoping that there's something on right now that interests me. Plus the volume of content available via streaming beats out even the biggest cable package. And the audio/video quality is better. So even if the costs were to be the same, streaming still wins over cable/satellite/OTA, hands down. Plus, nothing says you have to be subscribed to all services, all at once, all the time. Pay for a month or two of one, watch what interests you, then cancel it. Pick a different service. Rinse and repeat, on rotation.

Three Generations of Service |
I went ahead and subscribed to the premium package as it was $60-ish for a year if you paid ahead. I'll watch another episode of Tulsa King tonight and hope there'll be no ads. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.
