ChicagoSigManRV Folks....I need some help - Solved
A couple staff members of the service dog organization in Naples stayed at the facility to care for the dogs. They have no water service or power and have been living in an RV on the property. They need a fill up of the water tanks and a pump-out of the waste tanks. I'm not at all familiar with RVs - can someone give me an idea of who would I call to arrange these services?

bigpond73Does the RV move? If so, I would look into some close by RV parks. Most have a dump station, and will allow you to fill your freshwater tank, for a small fee.
If not moveable, you will need to empty your black tank into a container and take it to a RV park to dump. You can fill the freshwater tank with a hose, or worst case, by the gallon.
I have not heard of someone that comes to you and does all this. Doesn't mean they don't exist.
First place I would contact though would be the RV parks.

ChicagoSigManSolved. I calld an RV dealer and they directed me to a service that comes out and does it. Funny how my first thought was to ask SigForum and not an RV dealer

bendableam amazed on a regular basis at what services are offered, these days.
there is a guy here that drives around all day in a small van, he picks up people's pet poop and charges them for it, and they pay.
another fella picks up your Walnuts and people pay him.
cleaning ladies make sense. thats been around.
and roof gutter cleaners , I can see that.
now people will come to your home and rotate your auto tires or detail your car.
I am seriously considering offering a bird feeder filling service.
You give me $100.00 - $200.00 and I will come to your home , fill the feeders, for another $20.00 I will scrub the bird bath and fill it

The lake community I live in has quite a few well to do owners of second lake homes. I saw the Orkin man cleaning spider webs off a boat house last month.

armoredYou must be careful when having a pump out done.
If it is a power pump out, like a vacumn pump,the toilets in the RV should have the toilet flapper open or the suction can seriously damage the toilet.

The first company I called declined the job because they said their pumps are too powerful for RVs and could damage the tanks. They referred me to another company, which was able to do the job.
